8 best beach hotels in Pals

Beach hotels in Pals are best understood as places that make the coast easy to enjoy, rather than properties that sit directly on the sand. In and around this part of the Costa Brava, that means a stay with straightforward access to the beach area, a relaxed holiday setting, and the kind of comfort that suits days spent between the sea, local dining and time outdoors. The best options tend to combine convenience with a calm atmosphere, whether that is a boutique hotel, an adults-only retreat, a resort, or self-catering accommodation.

This list includes a mix of styles to suit different travellers. Mas Ferran Adults Only and Es Portal Restaurant i Hotel Boutique - Adults only will appeal to couples looking for a quieter break, while La Costa Golf and Beach Resort offers a more resort-style stay. Arkhé Hotel Boutique Pals and Masía Rural Can Poch are good fits for guests who want a smaller, more characterful base, and Aparthotel Arenal or Apartamentos Golf Mar I & II by La Costa Resort suit those who prefer flexibility and space. Hostal Can Bassalis provides a simpler, lower-key option.

Pals itself is a good choice for travellers who want a beach holiday with a more laid-back feel than a large resort town. The hotels here work well for couples, families and independent travellers who value easy access to the coast, a peaceful setting and a range of budgets and standards, from 2-star stays to 4-star properties.
