8 best budget hotels in Spa

Budget hotels in Spa are best understood as stays that keep costs sensible without dropping the essentials: a comfortable room, clean facilities, and a practical base for exploring the town and surrounding countryside. In a place like Spa, where visitors often come for a short break, walking, and easy access to the wider Ardennes area, value is not just about the lowest rate. It is also about getting a reliable, well-reviewed stay that feels straightforward and good quality for the price.

That is why the hotels in this list sit comfortably in the budget-friendly bracket even when they are not the cheapest possible option. Several are modest 1-star or 3-star properties, yet all have strong guest scores, which suggests that travellers here are prioritising satisfaction, comfort, and a pleasant setting over extras they may not need. Places such as La Suite Des Pervenches, Un Air de Chateau, and B&B Au Coq en Pate show that a budget stay in Spa can still feel well cared for. Ferme de la Petite Fagne, La Ferme du Soyeuru, and Ô Secret du Wérihay add a more rural feel, while Hôtel l'Ecrin d'Ô and Villa Grand Maur offer a polished base without straying into luxury territory.

These are the kinds of hotels that suit couples, solo travellers, and weekend guests who want to keep spending under control while still booking somewhere dependable and well liked. In Spa, budget accommodation can be simple, comfortable, and genuinely good value.
