8 best budget hotels in Spetses

Budget hotels in Spetses are best understood as places that keep costs sensible without giving up the essentials that matter on a short island break. In practice, that means clean rooms, reliable service, a convenient base, and good guest feedback, rather than unnecessary extras. The strongest value options often come from smaller hotels and guesthouses with simple facilities, where the focus is on comfort, location and a straightforward stay.

Spetses suits this kind of trip well. It is an easy island to enjoy on foot, with a relaxed pace and a compact feel, so many visitors are looking for a practical place to sleep rather than a full resort experience. Budget-minded travellers, couples, solo visitors and anyone planning to spend most of the day out exploring will usually get the most from this type of hotel.

In this list, properties such as 7 Islands, Alexandris Hotel, Klimis Hotel and Villa Martha show that “budget” does not have to mean low standards. Even where the star rating is modest, guest scores can be very strong, which is often the best sign of real value. Armata Boutique Hotel Spetses and Yayaki Spetses also appeal to travellers who want a more polished stay while still keeping an eye on overall value.

The key is to look for a hotel that balances price, comfort and guest satisfaction. In Spetses, that usually means a simple, well-run stay in a setting that makes it easy to enjoy the island without overspending.
