8 best hotels for groups in Jiayuguan

Hotels for groups in Jiayuguan need to do more than offer a bed for the night. For families, tour parties, sports teams and friends travelling together, the best options combine enough room types for different budgets, straightforward check-in, and a practical location that keeps transfers and meet-ups simple. In a place like Jiayuguan, where many visitors are passing through on wider regional itineraries, convenience matters as much as comfort.

A genuinely group-friendly hotel should make coordination easy. That means reliable Wi‑Fi, sensible communal spaces, and a level of service that helps everyone arrive, settle in and leave without fuss. It also helps if the hotel has a range of standards, from simple stays to more polished four-star options, so a group can choose according to budget rather than compromise on the whole trip. In this list, that mix is reflected by places such as Huili Business Hotel, IU Hotel·Jiayuguan People's Shopping Mall, Ji Hotel (Jiayuguan Pedestrian Street), Plaza Holiday Inn Jiayuguan and the more modest Herdsman Youth Hostel 2.

Location is another key factor. For groups, staying somewhere central can reduce the need for multiple taxis and make it easier to meet for meals or onward travel. The strongest choices here suit travellers who want practical access to the city’s main commercial areas, with enough flexibility for both short stopovers and slightly longer stays. Overall, these hotels are best for people who value coordination, decent value and an uncomplicated base in Jiayuguan.
