8 best hotels for groups in Paignton

Hotels for groups in Paignton need to do more than simply offer enough beds. The best options make it easy for everyone to stay together, with room types that suit mixed party sizes, a practical layout, and a level of comfort that works for friends, families, clubs or small touring groups. In a place like Paignton, where visitors often come for relaxed seaside breaks and straightforward access to the wider English Riviera, group-friendly stays are usually those that combine good guest feedback with a calm, convenient base.

That is where this shortlist stands out. Properties such as The Clydesdale Guest House, Seacroft Guest House, Dalehurst Guest House and Sefton Lodge all score highly with guests, while Brambles Holiday Lodges offers a different kind of stay for groups wanting more independence. Beach House, Birchwood House and Braedene Lodge Bed And Breakfast also provide well-rated options for smaller groups who value a welcoming atmosphere and an easygoing place to return to after a day out.

For group travel, the right hotel is one that keeps logistics simple: comfortable rooms, reliable standards, and a setting that suits shared plans without feeling cramped. In Paignton, that usually means staying somewhere practical, well reviewed and flexible enough to suit different ages and travel styles. These hotels and guest houses fit that brief, giving groups a solid base for a short break or a longer coastal stay.
