8 best hotels for groups in Preston

Hotels for groups in Preston need to do more than simply offer a few extra beds. The best options give friends, families, workmates or event guests enough space to stay together comfortably, with practical room layouts, reliable standards and an easy base for getting around. In Preston, that often means choosing somewhere with a mix of double, twin or family-style accommodation, straightforward access for arrivals and departures, and a setting that works for both shared time and independent schedules.

This list includes a range of group-friendly stays, from guest houses and inns to lodges and a well-known budget hotel brand. Places such as Ashton Lodge Guest House, The Dog Inn, Cottam Cottage Farm and Premier Inn Preston North suit different group sizes and budgets, while the lodge options, including Impeccable 2-bed Lodge in Preston hot hub, Inviting 3-bed Lodge in Preston hot tub, Cosy 3-bed hot tub Lodge in Pr3 and Nicky Nook Lodge, may appeal to groups wanting a more self-contained stay. The strongest group hotels are usually those that combine good guest ratings with enough flexibility to keep everyone under one roof.

Preston itself is a practical choice for group trips, with a straightforward city-centre feel and easy links to the wider area. That makes it suitable for short breaks, family visits, celebrations, work stays and stopovers where convenience matters as much as comfort. For groups, the best hotel is one that keeps arrangements simple, sleep quality high and the whole stay easy to organise.
