8 best hotels for groups in Westport

Hotels for groups in Westport need to do more than offer enough beds. The best options give larger parties room to stay together, a practical layout for sharing time and space, and a level of comfort that works for everyone from friends on a short break to families, walking groups, wedding guests and small touring parties. Self-catering houses can be especially useful when a group wants a shared base, while guesthouses, lodges and hotels suit those who prefer private rooms and less to organise.

Westport is a good fit for group travel because it combines a lively town atmosphere with easy access to the wider area, making it suitable for social trips, active breaks and longer stays. In this list, properties such as The Harbour Mill, Augusta Lodge and Knockranny Lodge Guesthouse offer a more polished stay, while Mc Carthy's Lodge & Bar and The Old Mill Holiday Hostel may appeal to groups looking for simpler, more budget-friendly accommodation. Lios Mór - 5 bed self catering house and Immaculate 3-bed House With Private Secure Garden are the sort of options that work well when privacy and shared living space matter most.

The right choice depends on how your group travels: some will prioritise guest ratings, others need multiple bedrooms, and some simply want a straightforward base with enough flexibility for everyone to stay comfortably under one roof.
