7 best indoor pool hotels in Forio

Indoor pool hotels in Forio offer a practical way to enjoy Ischia’s west-coast charm with year-round comfort. Forio is known for its scenic historic core and viewpoints, including the Church of Soccorso on the Piazzale del Soccorso and the Bay of Citara. With an indoor pool, you can keep swimming and relaxing even when sea breezes turn cooler or the weather shifts.

A genuinely “indoor pool” stay goes beyond a token splash: look for heated, hydro-massage or whirlpool features, a proper wellness setting, and spa facilities that let you unwind properly after exploring. That makes these hotels especially well suited to couples seeking romantic downtime, guests travelling outside peak summer months, and anyone who wants a steady routine of exercise and recovery without relying on outdoor conditions.

Where to stay in Forio usually comes down to proximity to the action versus a calmer setting. The town-side areas suit guests who want easy access to Forio’s promenade and local life, while hillside or garden-led properties work beautifully for quieter evenings and longer spa sessions. In this collection, for example, Botania Relais & Spa (5★) is ideal for full wellness days, while Hotel Nettuno (4★) suits a comfortable, sea-adjacent break with an indoor pool designed for relaxation. For a more budget-conscious base, Royal Sunset Hotel (3★) and Hotel Villa Melodie (3★) can still deliver a restful stay, while Citara-focused travellers may prefer Hotel Citara (3★).
