Why hotels with a kitchen, why here
Hotels with a kitchen in Minneapolis suit travellers who want more freedom than a standard room provides—think families who prefer simple breakfast routines, longer-stay guests working between neighbourhoods, and anyone who enjoys local grocery shopping rather than relying solely on restaurants. In practice, a genuinely “kitchen” stay means you’ll have the essentials for real meal prep (such as a proper kitchenette or full kitchen), allowing you to store food, reheat leftovers, and dine in comfortably.
For location, the Mill District / downtown riverfront is a standout base. It’s anchored by the Guthrie Theater in the historic Mill District, offering an easy walk to cultural evenings and riverside downtime. Staying nearby also places you close to the Mississippi Riverfront landmarks and Mill City Ruins within the same wider area.
Alternatively, for classic downtown convenience, Nicollet is ideal—widely regarded as the core shopping and entertainment artery of downtown Minneapolis, connecting you efficiently to major attractions and everyday essentials.
If you’re choosing from our bookable options, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Downtown Minneapolis, Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis Mill District, and The Hotel Landing offer strong fits for travellers seeking a kitchen-enabled stay while keeping you close to the best parts of the city.
