The brief

Why hotels with a kitchen, why here

Hotels with a kitchen in Nosy Be are ideal for travellers who want flexible meals without giving up the island’s relaxed rhythm. Nosy Be’s main hub, Hell-Ville (Andoany), is a good base for practical stays, with local markets and day-to-day convenience close at hand. For scenery and an easier rhythm between beach time and dining, Andilana Beach is a well-known shoreline area with established visitor access—and Mont Passot is a standout viewpoint destination for panoramic island sunsets.

A genuinely good “kitchen” setup goes beyond a basic kitchenette: look for a proper cooking space (not just a kettle), workable storage for groceries, and enough utensils to prepare simple breakfasts and local seafood meals. These stays suit families, longer-stay guests, and anyone travelling with dietary preferences who wants to cook at home when it suits.

From our bookable options, you’ll find the right balance in places such as Home The Residence (4★) and Vanila Hotel & Spa (4★), with comfortable hotel-style service alongside self-catering convenience. For quieter, more resort-style bases, Andriana Resort & Spa (4★) and Emeraude Lodge (3★) can be strong choices when you want a calm kitchen routine between excursions.
