8 best mountain hotels in Todi

Mountain hotels in Todi suit travellers who want the calm of the Umbrian hills without losing the convenience of staying close to town. In this context, “mountain” is less about high-altitude resorts and more about properties set in elevated countryside, with broad views, fresh air and a quieter pace than the historic centre. The best options combine a scenic setting with easy access to Todi, making them suitable for couples, walkers, food-focused breaks and anyone looking for a restful base in central Italy.

This list brings together a mix of agriturismi, small hotels and characterful stays that reflect the area well. Agriturismo La Torraccia, Agriturismo La Torriola and Agriturismo Castello Di Belforte offer the rural feel many guests look for, while Hotel Bramante and Residenza Roccafiore provide a more hotel-led experience with the same sense of space. Residenza Teatro Antico and Il Ghiottone Umbro add smaller-scale options, and the House in Central Todi with Sensational Views of Surrounding Countryside shows that even a central stay can still feel tied to the hills beyond the town.

Guest scores are notably strong across the selection, which suggests these properties appeal to visitors who value comfort, views and a peaceful setting as much as location. Overall, the best mountain hotels in Todi are those that balance countryside atmosphere with practical access to one of Umbria’s most attractive hill towns.
