5 best hotels with a pool in Coronado

Hotels with a pool in Coronado are best chosen for more than just the presence of water on site. A genuine fit should offer a pool that is usable, well kept and easy to access, with accommodation that suits the way you travel, whether that means a simple base for a short break or a more resort-style stay with extra space and facilities. In Coronado, that often means looking for hotels that balance comfort with the island’s relaxed, coastal feel.

This list includes a mix of options, from two-star and three-star stays to four-star resorts, so there is something for different budgets and trip types. Crown City Inn, Glorietta Bay Inn Coronado Island, Best Western Plus Suites Hotel Coronado Island, El Rancho Motel and El Cordova Hotel on Coronado Island suit travellers who want a practical stay with a pool as part of the appeal. Beach Village at The Del, LXR Hotels & Resorts, Beach Village at The Del, Curio Collection by Hilt, and Loews Coronado Bay Resort lean more towards a higher-end break, where the pool is part of a fuller holiday experience.

Coronado itself has an easygoing, seaside character that works well for couples, families and anyone planning a slower-paced escape. A hotel with a pool here is especially useful if you want downtime between outings, or if you prefer the option of swimming without leaving the property.
