4 best hotels with a pool in Hengchun

Hotels with a pool in Hengchun make an excellent base for a beach-led escape: you can return to a proper on-site swim after a day around Kenting National Park and the coastal lanes. Hengchun itself is a walkable old-town gateway, with the South Gate (also called Mingdu Gate) as a well-known landmark in the historic core. For evenings, the Old Street area and the Hengchun Night Market atmosphere sit close to the action, ideal when you want local snacks and easy access back to your room.

A genuinely good “pool hotel” here is more than just a splash zone: look for a well-maintained outdoor pool (not just decorative water), comfortable sunbeds, and quiet hours or practical pool access so you can actually relax. This setup suits couples who want downtime between sightseeing, families needing a predictable activity, and friends travelling by scooter or car who prefer a calmer base than the busier Kenting coastline.

Where to stay, for best balance: choose the Hengchun Old Town / South Gate vicinity for character and convenience, then head out to the national-park beaches when you’re ready. If you’re browsing our bookable options, properties such as ErDong Manor (4★) and The Light Inn (3★) are well placed for that “town by night, pool by day” rhythm.
