Why hotels with a pool, why here
Hotels with a pool in Paxos suit travellers who want a proper wind-down after beach days, with swimming options that are calm, private, and weather-friendly. A good “pool” stay here also tends to deliver outdoor space, shaded terraces, and easy access to the island’s best coves—so you can alternate between sunloungers and sightseeing without long drives.
For location, two bases stand out. Gaios is Paxos’s main harbour and lively hub: the seafront promenade leads past Venetian-style architecture and the small harbour islets linked to local landmark life. (visitpaxos.com, paxosclub.gr) Lakka, meanwhile, is known for its relaxed village bay with waterfront tavernas and a promenade that’s made for lingering. (visitpaxos.com, feelgreece.com)
Genuinely pool-ready accommodation in Paxos is ideal for families, couples, and groups seeking slower mornings, plus travellers who like to keep swimming close to home—especially if you’re booking a villa or cottage rather than a city-style hotel. In this collection, you’ll find exactly that mix of comfort and independence, from Agali Hotel Paxos (4★) to Torri E Merli Boutique Hotel (5★), as well as pool-equipped villas and cottages such as Loggos Seaview Cottage with Pool by Konnect (4★) and Terra Villa in Apergatika (guest 9.5).
