Why ski hotels, why here
Ski hotels in Susa sit in the friendly gateway town of Piedmont’s Val di Susa, ideal for travellers who want an easy base in a real community while reaching major winter areas on a short local drive. Susa’s historic centre is centred around landmarks such as the Porta Savoia (Gate of Paradise) and the Cathedral of San Giusto, while the Castello della Contessa Adelaide brings character and atmosphere just above town.
What makes these hotels genuinely “ski” for this destination is proximity: from Susa you can connect quickly to Bardonecchia, a well-known resort with slopes served by lifts linking to the wider Vialattea area (rome2rio.com, snowinter.com). That suits skiers and snowboarders who prefer staying off the mountain for better value, quieter evenings, and convenient station access.
Where to stay depends on your style. For maximum convenience, base yourself near the station and central corridors—for example Hotel Susa & Stazione—to keep transfers simple (mapcarta.com, kayak.com). For a more personal stay, Susa’s smaller B&Bs and guesthouses—such as Alla Bastilla B&B and B&B Scotty & Co.—work well for couples and independent travellers who want walkable town charm between ski days.
