Why hotels with amazing views, why here
Hotels with amazing views in Crete are not just places to sleep with a distant glimpse of the sea. The best ones make the setting part of the stay, whether that means open views over the coast, wide outlooks from a hillside position, or a room and terrace that let you enjoy Crete’s light and landscape from morning to evening. In a destination known for its beaches, clear water and varied scenery, a genuinely strong view can be as important as the room itself.
This kind of hotel suits travellers who want the island to feel present throughout the day: couples looking for a more memorable escape, friends planning a scenic break, and anyone who prefers a stay that feels tied to place rather than simply convenient. Adults-only options such as Cosmeen Lifestyle Boutique Stay - Adults Only and Thalassa Beach Resort - Adults Only may appeal to those after a quieter atmosphere, while five-star choices like Louis Asterion Suites, Nautilux Rethymno, The Tanneries Hotel and Spa and Nana Golden Beach offer a more polished experience alongside the scenery.
Guest ratings are also a useful clue here, because a great view should be matched by comfort, service and a well-run hotel overall. Properties such as Louis Asterion Suites, Cosmeen Lifestyle Boutique Stay - Adults Only and Kavoussi Resort stand out for strong guest scores as well as their setting. In short, the best hotels with amazing views in Crete combine outlook, atmosphere and quality, creating a stay that feels distinctly connected to the island.

Which area is best to stay in for views in Crete?
Coastal areas are the most reliable choice for sea views, while hotels set slightly higher up can offer broader panoramas. The best area depends on whether you want beach access, a quieter setting or a more scenic outlook.
What is the typical price or level for these hotels?
In this list, the level ranges from 3-star to 5-star, so there is a mix of mid-range and more upscale stays. The strongest-view hotels are often in the higher categories, but good guest ratings show that value can be found across the range.
