The brief

Why hotels with amazing views, why here

Hotels with amazing views in Hinterglemm are not simply places with a window facing the mountains. A genuine view-led stay here should give you a clear sense of place: open outlooks over the valley, a strong alpine setting, and a room or terrace that makes the scenery part of the experience rather than a background detail. In a resort like Hinterglemm, where the landscape is a major part of the appeal, the best hotels are those that let you enjoy it from breakfast through to evening.

This kind of hotel suits skiers, walkers and anyone looking for a quieter mountain break with a scenic backdrop. It also works well for couples and families who want a comfortable base without losing sight of the views that brought them here in the first place. Properties such as Hotel Almrausch, Hotel Tristkogel, Hotel Pension Sonnberg, Hotel Hubertushof and Marten are all strong examples in this list, with high guest ratings suggesting they deliver more than just a good location.

When choosing among hotels with amazing views in Hinterglemm, it is worth looking for elevated positions, valley outlooks and balconies or communal spaces that make the most of the setting. The best options combine practical comfort with a clear visual connection to the surrounding mountains, making the stay feel distinctly alpine rather than generic.

What to know about hotels with amazing views in Hinterglemm

What makes a hotel with amazing views in Hinterglemm?

It should offer a genuine alpine outlook, ideally over the valley or surrounding mountains, rather than a partial or obstructed view. Balconies, terraces and well-placed common areas can make a noticeable difference.

Which area is best to stay in for views in Hinterglemm?

In general, slightly elevated or more open positions tend to work best for views, especially where the hotel can look across the valley. A scenic setting matters more than being in the busiest part of the resort.

What price and level should I expect?

The selection here ranges from good-quality 3-star hotels to 4-star properties, so there is a mix of comfort levels. In view-focused stays, the room category and outlook often matter as much as the star rating.
