7 best hotels with amazing views in Riddes

Hotels with amazing views in Riddes are about more than a pleasant outlook: they are places where the setting is part of the stay. In and around this part of Valais, the best options make the most of alpine scenery, with open vistas that can include mountain slopes, valley views, and the sense of being close to nature. A genuine view-led hotel or chalet should feel light, well placed, and suited to lingering over the scenery rather than simply passing through it.

This list suits travellers who want a calmer Swiss mountain break, whether that means a romantic escape, a family holiday, or a base for a few days of fresh air and outdoor time. It also works well for guests who value privacy and self-catering comfort, as several of the strongest options here are chalets and apartments rather than large hotels. Among the bookable stays, App Les Lupins 16 and App. Bellevue B 5.19 offer apartment-style comfort, while Chalet 18 Îles Luxury Chalet With Sauna La Tzoumaz, Chalet Micheline, Chalet Les Aragnes Family Chalet La Tzoumaz, Chalet Par Le Travers, Chalet Noisette Authentic Swiss Chalet Perfect for Families, and Chalet Mouettes bring a more traditional alpine feel.

Expect a straightforward mountain stay rather than a full resort experience. The appeal lies in the combination of scenery, comfort, and good guest feedback, with several properties rated very highly by previous visitors. For those seeking a scenic base in a quieter Swiss setting, Riddes is well suited to that kind of stay.
