8 best hotels with amazing views in Vienna

Hotels with amazing views in Vienna are not just about a room on a high floor. The best ones combine outlook, setting and design so the view feels like part of the stay, whether that means looking across the city’s rooftops, over tree-lined streets or towards the skyline from a well-placed terrace or upper-storey room. In Vienna, that often suits travellers who want the city experience to feel memorable without giving up comfort, style or convenience.

This kind of hotel works especially well for couples, first-time visitors and anyone planning a short break where the room matters as much as the location. It also suits guests who like to return after sightseeing to a space that feels calm and elevated, rather than purely practical. Among the options here, SO Vienna Hotel stands out for a more high-end stay, while Hotel Motto, Am Parkring Wien and Ruby Marie Hotel offer strong city stays with a contemporary feel. Boutique Hotel Stadthalle brings a different appeal, with a more distinctive, smaller-scale character, and Grand Quarters City Residence and TOP CityLine Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth add further choice for travellers who value comfort and a central base.

In a city like Vienna, the right view can make a good hotel feel far more special. The best picks are those that deliver a clear outlook alongside a solid guest rating, good design and a location that makes getting around straightforward.
