Saalbach hotels like a local.
Saalbach is a high-energy Alpine base where ski-in/ski-out convenience, big-mountain biking and Austrian après-ski sit in one long, easy valley.
About Saalbach
You’ll often see Saalbach used as shorthand for Saalbach-Hinterglemm, a municipality in Salzburg state’s Pinzgau / Zell am See district. The main resort villages run along the Glemmtal valley, with Saalbach and Hinterglemm as the two main centres. In winter, the big draw is the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, advertised with 270 km of pistes, 70 lifts and 60 ski huts. In summer, you switch to lift-assisted hiking, cable cars, family trails and one of Austria’s largest bike-trail set-ups.
