Bengbu hotels like a local.
Bengbu gives you an easy Anhui city break on the Huai River, with lakeside parks, Da Yu heritage, snack streets, rail links and a new regional airport.

About Bengbu
Bengbu sits in northern Anhui on the Huai River and works well when you want a lower-pressure Chinese city rather than a packed sightseeing circuit. You’ll find Longzi Lake, Zhanggongshan, Bengbu Museum, old-centre food streets and county-side Da Yu culture within reach, though you’ll need buses or ride-hailing because the sights are spread out. The city had a 2024 resident population of 3.262 million and administers Longzihu, Bengshan, Yuhui and Huaishang districts plus Huaiyuan, Wuhe and Guzhen counties. Bengbu South keeps it useful on the Beijing–Shanghai high-speed rail corridor, while Bengbu Tenghu Airport added air access in 2026.
