Putuo is a district of Shanghai, not a separate city, in the northwest of the central urban area. You stay here for a quieter, more residential Shanghai base with access to Suzhou Creek, M50 Creative Park, Changfeng Park, Zhenru Temple, Global Harbor and central districts by metro. It works especially well if you’ve been to Shanghai before, need a business-friendly base, or want better hotel value without giving up rail connections.
