About Yulin
Yulin in Shaanxi Province sits at the northern tip of the province, bordering Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Ningxia and Gansu. You come here for a practical, off-the-main-tourist-trail base for Yulin Old City, Zhenbeitai Great Wall, Red Stone Gorge, Wave Valley in Jingbian, Hongjiannao Lake and Tongwancheng Archaeological Site Park. The surroundings is split by the Great Wall, with sandy grassland to the north and loess hills and ravines to the south, so the best trips usually mix city walking with taxis, DiDi or hired cars.
