About Løkken
Løkken is a small holiday town on Denmark’s northwest coast, known for its broad white-sand beach, relaxed West Coast atmosphere, small shops, local restaurants and year-round holiday life. It grew from an 18th- and 19th-century trading place between Vendsyssel and southern Norway into a bathing resort after the old boat trade faded around 1900. The main draw is Løkken Strand, a 10 km beach with fine white sand, car-access and car-free stretches, summer beach huts and a working pier used by local fishermen.
