Rennes hotels like a local.
Rennes gives you a compact Breton city break with a walkable old town, serious Saturday market, half-timbered streets and fast rail links across the region.

About Rennes
Rennes is Brittany’s economic and cultural capital, but it stays pleasantly human-scale. You can base yourself in the historic centre and walk between the cathedral, Portes Mordelaises, Marché des Lices, Parc du Thabor, museums and the station area without much effort. It works especially well for a short break: food is a real reason to come, the bar scene around Rue Saint-Michel is lively, and rail links make it practical for day trips to Saint-Malo, Mont-Saint-Michel and Brocéliande.
