About Vars
Vars sits in the Hautes-Alpes along the Col de Vars road, with Saint-Marcellin, Sainte-Marie, Sainte-Catherine and Les Claux forming four distinct bases. In winter, you’re linked with Risoul in La Forêt Blanche, advertised by the resort as 185 km of pistes, 36 lifts and 1,100 m of vertical between 1,650 m and 2,750 m. In summer, the trip shifts towards hiking, cycling, mountain biking and the protected Val d’Escreins.
