Dranske hotels like a local.
Dranske is Rügen at its wilder northern edge, with Baltic beaches, Bodden water, wind sports and a quiet base for Kap Arkona, Hiddensee and the Bug peninsula.
About Dranske
You come to Dranske for space, sea air and practical coastal calm rather than a polished resort scene. This small, state-recognised resort municipality on the Wittow peninsula sits between the Baltic Sea and the Wieker Bodden, with former fishing-village roots, sandy beaches, water sports and largely unspoilt nature nearby. The municipality is spread across several hamlets, including Dranske, Banz, Bug, Goos, Gramtitz, Kreptitz, Kuhle, Lancken, Nonnevitz and Starrvitz, so where you stay matters: Dranske village is easiest for buses, the pier and water sports, while Bakenberg and Nonnevitz are better for beach-first stays.
