Alappuzha hotels like a local.
You come to Alappuzha, still widely called Alleppey, for slow backwater days, paddy-field canals, coir heritage and Arabian Sea sunsets in one compact Kerala district.

About Alappuzha
Alappuzha is Kerala’s classic backwater stop, known for houseboat cruises, beaches, boat races, marine products and its historic coir industry. It works well as a two-night break between Kochi and the southern Kerala coast: keep one day for the canals and Kuttanad paddy country, then use the other for Alappuzha Beach, the lighthouse, Ambalappuzha Temple, the Coir Museum or Marari. October to March is usually the easiest weather window; June to September brings the southwest monsoon, greener scenery and a higher chance of disrupted boat or beach plans.
