Goa hotels like a local.
Goa gives you beach towns, Portuguese-era heritage, seafood shacks and slow coastal days, but you’ll want to choose your base carefully.

About Goa
Goa is a state rather than a single city, so your trip works best when you pick the right area: North Goa for busier beach towns and nightlife, Panaji for heritage lanes and Old Goa access, and South Goa for quieter sand. You can mix beaches with the UNESCO-listed churches and convents of Old Goa, Fontainhas in Panaji, laterite forts, mangrove birdlife and inland nature days, but distances between beach belts mean you shouldn’t plan it like one compact resort.
