Indore hotels like a local.
Indore is Madhya Pradesh’s food-first commercial capital, where poha breakfasts, late-night Sarafa snacks and Holkar-era architecture fit neatly into a 2–3 day trip.

About Indore
You come to Indore for food, heritage and an unusually manageable first taste of a large Indian city. It is Madhya Pradesh’s largest city, known for Sarafa Bazaar, Chappan Dukan, Holkar palaces, temples and short nature trips such as Patalpani and Gulawat. It has also repeatedly led India’s national cleanliness rankings, which makes its food streets and central areas feel more approachable than many comparable cities. Plan on two full days for the main sights and food crawls, or add a third for a waterfall, lotus valley or wetland visit.
