Nagda hotels like a local.
Nagda is a workaday Malwa rail-and-industry town on the Chambal River, best for practical stays, business visits, rail links and lower-cost Ujjain day trips.

About Nagda
Nagda sits in Ujjain district in western Madhya Pradesh, on the bank of the Chambal River. It’s an industrial town with viscose fibre, thermal-power and chemical activity, and its travel appeal is mostly practical: Nagda Junction is a useful Western Railway stop on the Delhi–Mumbai and Bhopal corridors, while local sightseeing centres on Birla Mandir, Atal Udyan, Nayan Dam and Chambal-side views. If you want a fuller sightseeing day, you’ll usually pair Nagda with Ujjain and its major temples.
