About Panshet
Panshet is a small lakeside village and resort belt in Pune district, roughly 50 km from Pune, centred on Panshet Dam, also called Tanajisagar Dam, on the Ambi River in the Western Ghats. It works best as a weekend retreat near Pune, especially if you have a car or driver. You’ll find reservoir views, boating, kayaking, jet skiing, birdlife and access to nearby forts, while evenings are usually quiet and resort-based.
