Fes hotels like a local.
Fes is Morocco’s great time-capsule city, with a medieval, craft-filled medina wrapped around madrasas, souks, tanneries and riads.

About Fes
You come to Fes for one of Morocco’s most important imperial cities: a UNESCO-listed medina founded in the 9th century, shaped strongly by the Marinid period, and still known for craft streets, religious-school architecture, tanneries, walls, riads and Fassi food. It is excellent value for Morocco if you choose carefully, but it rewards planning: the old city is absorbing, foot-only in its core and easy to get lost in, while the modern districts are more practical for taxis, rail links and larger hotels.
