Kenitra hotels like a local.
Kenitra gives you an easy Atlantic-side city break with rail links, Mehdia surf, Sidi Boughaba birdlife and a café scene that feels more local than staged.
About Kenitra
Kenitra sits in Morocco’s Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region on the south bank of the Sebou River, about 12 km from the Atlantic river mouth near Mehdia. It works best as a relaxed one- or two-night stop between Rabat and Tangier, or as a more affordable base for Mehdia Beach, Sidi Boughaba, Maâmora Forest and nearby archaeological sites. You don’t come here for a polished medina or a big resort strip; you come for practical rail access, beach time, birdwatching and everyday Moroccan city life.
