Sluis hotels like a local.
You get a compact Dutch-Belgian border town with medieval ramparts, the Netherlands’ only town-hall belfry, beach-country cycling and serious Zeeland seafood in easy weekend range.
About Sluis
Sluis sits in western Zeeland-Flanders, only a few kilometres from Belgium. The town itself is a fortified border place with shops, restaurants, bars, old ramparts and town gates, while the wider municipality also covers North Sea villages such as Cadzand-Bad, Nieuwvliet-Bad, Groede and Breskens. Your headline sight is the 14th-century town hall with its belfry, now an interactive museum, and the weekly Friday market runs from 8am to 4pm.
