Lima hotels like a local.
Lima brings Pacific-cliff sunsets, pre-Inca ruins, colonial balconies and a serious food scene into one sprawling coastal capital.

About Lima
You’ll get the best from Lima if you treat it as a set of districts rather than one simple centre. Miraflores and San Isidro are the easiest polished hotel bases, Barranco suits art and nights out, and the UNESCO-listed Historic Centre gives you the colonial core. The city is especially strong for food, museums, archaeology and a pre- or post-Cusco stopover, but you’ll need to plan around traffic and long cross-town distances.
