Coron hotels like a local.
Coron is northern Palawan’s boat-first base for limestone lakes, lagoons, reefs, WWII wrecks, hot springs, and small-town island-hopping logistics.

About Coron
Coron is a coastal municipality in northern Palawan rather than a large city, with 23 barangays and the 5316 postcode. Most travellers sleep in Coron Town on Busuanga Island, then head out by boat to Coron Island, reefs, beaches, lagoons, and wreck sites. You come here for Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoons, Siete Pecados Marine Park, WWII wreck diving, Mount Tapyas, and Maquinit Hot Springs, not for a polished beachfront resort strip. The town is practical, compact, and tour-driven, while the best scenery usually involves a boat, a tricycle, stairs, wet landings, or a full-day excursion.
