Granada hotels like a local.
Granada gives you the Alhambra, hilltop old quarters, cave flamenco, Sierra Nevada air and generous tapas in a compact long-weekend city.

About Granada
Granada sits in eastern Andalucía between the Darro and Genil rivers at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. It was the last city reconquered by the Catholic Monarchs in 1492, and you still see Arabic influence in its food, crafts and street plan. The Alhambra, Generalife and Albayzín are the headline UNESCO-listed ensemble, but Granada also works beautifully for slow wandering, flamenco, student-life energy and low-cost tapas rather than just a one-monument stop.
