Menorca hotels like a local.
Menorca is the quieter Balearic island, with protected landscapes, small harbour towns, prehistoric stone sites and long beach days that reward a bit of planning.

About Menorca
You’re choosing an island rather than a city break here. Stays usually split between Maó/Mahón in the east, Ciutadella in the west and beach-resort villages along the south and north coasts. Menorca has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1993, and Talayotic Menorca was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2023, so is surroundings, archaeology and sea as much as sand. The island is compact, but it isn’t properly urban: buses link main towns and resorts, while many coves, lighthouses and walking routes are easier with a car, bike, taxi, boat trip or a carefully planned bus day.
