Book now, pay later options
You do not choose between paying now and paying later: the rate decides. Non-refundable rates are paid in full when you book. Refundable rates are normally paid later: we save your card and charge it on the date shown at checkout. If that date is very close, payment may be taken when you book.
Read Your Payment Schedule
Before confirming, check:
- The total room price and charge currency
- Any amount payable now
- Each later amount and its scheduled date
- The cancellation charges and deadlines
A later-payment option does not always mean that nothing is payable today. Follow the schedule shown for your booking.
Saved Payment Method
For later payments, your card is saved securely with our payment provider, currently Revolut. After the card is saved, review its last four digits and the amounts, currencies and dates shown, then tick the box to authorise those payments. We may email a reminder, normally about 3 days before a scheduled payment. This is a courtesy: the charge does not depend on a reminder being sent. Keep a valid payment method available and check your payment dates.
If a later payment fails, we schedule one retry 6 hours later, only if this leaves enough time to cancel without a cancellation fee. If it still cannot be collected, we cancel the booking with no further charge and email you. From what you have already paid, we keep only the cancellation charge that applies at that moment under your rate, and refund the rest.
Cancelling a Scheduled Booking
The cancellation terms apply even when the full price has not yet been collected. My Bookings shows the applicable cancellation quote, including payments already made and any remaining amount due. Review it before confirming cancellation.
Payments to the Hotel
The room price is paid to PriceRoom. Separately, local charges, deposits or optional extras may be collected by the property. A scheduled PriceRoom payment is not a pay-at-hotel room balance.
