Hvorfor Aparthoteller og lejlighedshoteller, og hvorfor her
Aparthotels & serviced apartments in Beppu are a smart base for travellers who want the flexibility of a home-from-home in Japan’s onsen city. Instead of feeling locked into a traditional ryokan schedule, you can come and go as you please—ideal for families, longer stays, or anyone planning to explore multiple hot-spring districts across the day.
Beppu is best approached around its main visitor areas. For convenience, many guests prefer the station and nearby neighbourhoods for easy transport links, especially around Beppu Station and the Kitahama area. For iconic sightseeing, the steam-and-colour “jigoku” hot-springs are centred around Kannawa and Shibaseki, making these districts a natural target for apartments that prioritise walking or short local hops.
Aparthotels and serviced apartments typically suit people who value space (separate living/sleeping areas), practical amenities (kitchenettes or dining areas for flexibility), and privacy—particularly if you’re travelling with children, staying several nights, or simply want to pace your onsen visits without rushing. Use them as a comfortable staging point for day trips to Beppu Jigoku viewing sites and surrounding onsen streets.
In our bookable inventory, options such as Calm house Beppukitahama and the PrimeRoomBeppu series combine the serviced-apartment style with the comfort-focused stay many guests look for in Beppu—ranging from 2★ to 3★ across the collection.
