8 best wheelchair-accessible hotels in Visakhapatnam

Wheelchair-accessible hotels in Visakhapatnam are best chosen with accessibility in mind first: step-free routes from entrance to reception, lift access to all key floors, wide doorways and corridors, accessible toilets (including grab rails), and staff who can support mobility needs. The right hotel is also the one that avoids “accessible in theory” compromises—such as steep ramps, blocked approach paths, or long distances from the drop-off point to the lift.

For location, many visitors prefer the coastal stretch around RK Beach (Ramakrishna Beach), which is linked with family-friendly attractions and sea-front leisure. The area is known for nearby sights including the INS Kurusura Submarine Museum and other landmark attractions along the beach road. (vizagtourism.org.in, tripadvisor.in).

If you want a calmer, more residential feel, Daspalla Hills is a coastal neighbourhood close to the city’s core entertainment zones, making it convenient for day trips while still offering a more relaxed base. (mapcarta.com, bharatpedia.org)

These wheelchair-accessible stays suit travellers who need dependable step-free navigation—such as guests using wheelchairs, mobility scooters, or those with limited walking tolerance—along with families who value easier movement between room, dining and lifts. Options like Radisson Blu Resort Vishakhapatnam, Four Points by Sheraton Visakhapatnam, and Fairfield by Marriott Visakapatnam can be strong picks for comfort-focused trips, while Samsan Residentia and Northway Hotel may suit guests prioritising a more straightforward, value-aware stay.
