8 best hotels with amazing views in Indianapolis

Hotels with amazing views in Indianapolis are not just about a room on a high floor. The best options combine outlook, location and a setting that lets you see the city in a way that feels open, elevated and memorable. In a city with a strong downtown core and a mix of modern towers, business districts and wider suburban surroundings, a genuine view hotel is one that gives you more than a place to sleep: it gives you a sense of place.

For many travellers, that means choosing a property with upper-floor city views, especially in the central area where the skyline and streetscape are most visible. Hotels such as The Alexander, InterContinental Indianapolis, Omni Severin Hotel and Indianapolis Marriott Downtown fit that brief well, while Aloft Indianapolis Downtown, Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown and Fairfield Inn and Suites Indianapolis Downtown offer practical stays with a central base. If you prefer a quieter outlook, Marriott Indianapolis North provides a different kind of view-focused stay away from the downtown pace.

These hotels suit a wide range of guests. Couples often want a more atmospheric stay, business travellers may value a polished room with a strong city outlook, and leisure visitors usually want a convenient base that still feels special. Guest ratings also suggest that quality matters here, with several of these hotels scoring highly. In practice, the best hotels with amazing views in Indianapolis are those that balance comfort, height and location, so the view feels like part of the experience rather than an added extra.
