About Allinge
Allinge is a compact harbour town on North Bornholm, usually planned together with neighbouring Sandvig. It works best as a seaside base rather than a city break: you’re close to rocky bathing spots, smokehouses, Bronze Age rock carvings, Hammerknuden, Opalsøen and Hammershus. In June, Folkemødet changes the rhythm completely, with heavy demand for rooms and extra transport around Denmark’s major democracy festival.
