When will I be charged?
The payment step shows when PriceRoom will charge you. Read the exact amounts, charge currency and dates before confirming the booking.
Immediate and Scheduled Payments
The rate decides when you pay. Non-refundable rates are paid when you book. Refundable rates are normally charged later, on the date shown at checkout; if that date is very close, payment may be taken when you book. Checkout shows the amount due today and the date of any later charge.
After booking, check the payment information in My Bookings and any payment notices. The total booking value is not necessarily the amount already paid.
Pending Bank Transactions
An authorization hold may appear before a completed charge. Bank posting and hold-release times vary. Ask your bank whether an entry is pending or settled.
If the amount or currency does not match the booking record, contact support with the reference and transaction details. Do not send full card details.
Cancellation
Payment timing and cancellation terms are separate. Canceling before a scheduled payment does not automatically mean that cancellation is free. Review the cancellation quote in My Bookings, including the charge, refund and any amount still due.
At the Hotel
A hotel may collect separate local charges, optional extras or a deposit. Check the property disclosures and confirm its payment requirements before travel. Those charges are separate from the room payments scheduled by PriceRoom.
