I 8 migliori Ostelli a Yerevan

Hostels in Yerevan are best suited to travellers who want a social, practical base without paying for full-service hotel extras. In this list, the term “hostel” covers more than one style of stay: some properties are simple, budget-friendly options, while others are more polished but still keep the informal, communal feel associated with hostel accommodation. That means the category can work for backpackers, solo travellers, friends on a short city break, and longer-stay guests who value flexibility and a relaxed atmosphere.

Yerevan itself is a good fit for this type of stay. It is a compact, easygoing capital where many visitors want to spend more on exploring and less on accommodation. A hostel can be a sensible choice if you care more about location, cleanliness, guest feedback and a friendly setting than about large rooms or extensive facilities. The strongest options here, including Vagary Hostel, Sweet Sleep hostel, La Casa EmilioAngi and Velvet Vouge Hostel, show that hostel stays in Yerevan can range from very basic to surprisingly refined, while still remaining accessible.

This list includes properties with one- and two-star ratings, as well as a five-star option, so there is a clear spread in style and level. What unites them is that they offer a hostel-led experience rather than a traditional hotel one: more straightforward, often more communal, and generally better suited to travellers who prioritise value and atmosphere.
