Auのベスト山のホテル8選

Mountain hotels in Au suit travellers who want the landscape to do much of the work. In this part of the Bregenzerwald, a genuine mountain stay is less about ski-in, ski-out claims and more about setting, views, and easy access to walking, winter sports, and quiet alpine scenery. The best options feel rooted in their surroundings, whether they are comfortable four-star hotels, simple guesthouses, or rural stays with a stronger sense of place.

This list brings together a useful mix. Hotel Adler, Hotel Rössle, Hotel Krone in Au, and Hotel Alpenrose offer the more traditional hotel experience, with the reassurance of four-star comfort. For guests who prefer something smaller or more personal, Frühstückspension Rüf and Erath provide straightforward one-star stays, while Ferienbauernhof Berlinger adds a farm stay feel. Panoramahof Eggele stands out for its very high guest rating and three-star level, making it a strong choice for those who want a balance of comfort and character.

These mountain hotels in Au suit couples, walkers, families, and anyone planning a slower holiday in the mountains rather than a city break. They also work well for visitors who value good guest reviews and a range of budgets, from simple accommodation to more polished hotel stays. In short, the appeal here is practical alpine comfort with a sense of calm, not formality.
