Sukhothaiのベストリゾート3選

Resorts in Sukhothai are a relaxed way to base yourself for Thailand’s best-preserved Sukhothai Kingdom ruins—without losing your holiday time to constant transfers. The heart of the region is the Sukhothai Historical Park, where highlights include Wat Mahathat and the wider cluster of temples inside the old walled-city area. Another landmark visitors seek is Wat Si Chum, known for its iconic seated Buddha within the historical park landscape. For a more lifestyle-and-craft angle, stay here and pair your temple days with a visit to the Sangkhalok Museum, dedicated to the area’s world-famous ceramics.

Good “resorts” in Sukhothai suit travellers who want easy access to heritage cycling and temple sunsets, plus on-site comfort such as pools, gardens, and more spacious rooms than basic city guesthouses. They’re especially fitting for couples and family groups who prefer a calm, low-effort base—choosing between the heritage-near options (for early starts at the park) and the more convenient city areas (for dining and simple logistics).

Where to stay: for maximum convenience, look for properties close to the historical park zone around Old Sukhothai. Alternatively, choosing central Sukhothai helps if your plan also includes museums and evening strolls. Examples from our bookable inventory include Le Charme Sukhothai Historical Park Resot (4★) for a heritage-forward stay, and Scent Of Sukhothai Resort (3★) or Sukhothai City Resort (2★) for a practical, city-access base.
