Chitoseのベストスキーホテル1選

Ski hotels in Chitose suit travellers who want easy winter access without sacrificing comfort. In and around Chitose, the key winter base is the Shikotsuko (Lake Shikotsu) hot-spring area, set along the lake’s shores in Chitose city. Here, winter activities often revolve around the snow-and-ice season—most notably the Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival, held in winter and drawn from the lake’s clear waters.

What makes hotels in this part of Chitose a genuine “ski hotel” fit is their role as a practical winter launchpad: they’re well-placed for day trips to nearby snowy areas and for pairing “first tracks” with deep onsen-style recovery after time on snow (especially convenient if you’re coming from New Chitose Airport). Chitose is also the region’s transport gateway, with straightforward links between New Chitose Airport and major destinations.

Best areas to stay are therefore either Shikotsuko/onsen around Lake Shikotsu for a calm, scenic snow base, or in central Chitose by transport for easy arrival and flexibility. For example, Shikotsuko Daiichi Hotel Suizantei (4★) and Kyukamura Shikotsuko (3★) pair well with a Shikotsuko winter itinerary, while Crowne Plaza Ana Chitose (4★) and Best Western Plus Hotel Fino Chitose (4★) suit travellers who prioritise quick logistics and comfortable city access.
