връх ГОЛЯМ РЕЗЕН 근처에 묵으면 좋은 이유
Голям Резен is the second-highest peak in Vitosha Mountain, rising to 2,277 meters just outside Sofia. It sits on the high plateau east of Cherni Vrah, close enough to the capital that you can reach the trailhead and be hiking within an hour. People come for a quieter alternative to the busiest summit in Vitosha: wide, open terrain, long views over Sofia and the Bistritsa valley, and a sense of space that’s rare so close to a major city. The most distinctive feature is the broad summit ridge with visible air-traffic radar installations near the top, a landmark you can often spot from Sofia on clear days.
връх ГОЛЯМ РЕЗЕН 소개
Голям Резен lies within Vitosha Nature Park, a protected area established in 1934 and recognized as the oldest nature park in the Balkans. Unlike peaks marked by monuments or historic buildings, Golям Резен’s importance comes from its geography and conservation status. The mountain forms part of the main watershed divide between river systems flowing toward the Black Sea and the Aegean Sea. On its lower slopes is Bistrishko Branishte, a UNESCO biosphere reserve safeguarding old-growth spruce forests and sub-alpine meadows. On the ground, the experience is defined by an exposed alpine environment: windswept grasslands, rocky eastern faces used by climbers, and a web of marked hiking routes connecting Aleko, Cherni Vrah, and the Rezni peaks. The summit area itself is open, with the radar installations reminding you that this high ground still has an active role today.

가는 방법
Most hikes start from the Aleko tourist centre on Vitosha, reached by car or public bus along the upper Vitosha road. From Aleko, the route heads toward Cherni Vrah before branching east to Golям Резен, taking about 1 hour 40 minutes on foot. Longer approaches are also possible from the Bistritsa side through forest trails inside the park.
알아두면 좋은 것들
- No tickets or gates are required; Golям Резен is inside a public nature park with free, unrestricted access year-round.
- Expect much colder and windier conditions than in Sofia, often 10–15°C cooler at the summit.
- Carry a map or GPS track, as fog is common and the open plateau has few natural landmarks.
- Stay clear of the operational air-traffic radar installations and follow posted restrictions.
- Consider combining the hike with Cherni Vrah for a longer high-ridge walk.

връх ГОЛЯМ РЕЗЕН 근처, 어디에 묵을까
There’s no accommodation near Golям Резен itself, so staying in Sofia is the practical choice. For the shortest and simplest access to the mountain, Boyana or Dragalevtsi work well; both sit at the foot of Vitosha and give you quick road access to Aleko. These areas suit hikers who want early starts and quieter evenings. Central Sofia is better if you want museums, restaurants, and nightlife after your hike, accepting a longer drive up the mountain in exchange for urban convenience.
